Book Week Parade

The hall was full of colour, creativity and characters yesterday morning as we celebrated our Book Week parade.

Thank you to all the parents, carers, families and friends who attended and helped make this event such a memorable and magical one.

It was hard to choose only one person per year level, but the following students were awarded the ‘Most Creative Costume Award':

Grade 2 - Vinnie 2B- Willy Wonka

Grade 3 - Mia Hodge- Morrigan Crow (Nevermoor)

Grade 4 - Harry 4B-Count Olaf

Grade 5 - Bella W 5B-The Lorax

Grade 6 - Evelyn 6B-Cruella De Vil

These students can come and collect their prizes from Ms Murtagh in the office at recess on Wednesday.

Author Visits

Over the last two weeks CPS has hosted two award winning authors, Zanni Louise and Anna Ciddor.

These sessions provided all our  students the opportunity to hear first hand how authors create and publish books. It was very engaging and inspiring.
