Robert Tassoni Principal Review for Professional Development

Robert Tassoni has been the Principal of Lakeside College, Pakenham since the commencement of Term 2, 2023. There is an expectation that LEVNT Principals regularly participate in a review process to support their professional development and growth as Principal of their learning community.

LEVNT facilitated an online survey of and interviews with various members of the College community. Survey responses were received from 100 members of the College community including College Board Directors, Staff Members (teaching and non-teaching); sample of Students (Year 11 and Year 12) and Parents.

The feedback to this review was very affirming of Mr Tassoni’s leadership.  He is perceived as a highly capable leader who is passionate and highly committed to the development of a strong learning culture and is regarded as a leader of learning. Parents perceive their children to be achieving well and believe the College has a focus on educational rigour.

The perception of the College community is that Mr Tassoni is very strongly committed to the Christian values being foundational to the life of the College. He models his faith in his interactions with others, lives out the values of the College and demonstrates clearly that his faith is at the core of who he is.

I want to thank the College Community for their valuable contribution to Mr Tassoni’s review for professional development.  We thank and praise God for Mr Tassoni’s commitment and vision and wish him every blessing as he continues to lead the College into the future.
