ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Think of a topic to write an explanation topic about such as:

  • How do volcanoes erupt?
  • How do bees make honey?
  • How does the recycling process work?

Practise writing an engaging introduction to start your text. You might choose to start with an action, paint a word picture or use a rhetorical question.
