FLIP

The FLIP program (Flexible Learning Intervention Program) helps prepare students for our regular program at the main campus by providing flexible and individual learning interventions. The program is based at The House, a heritage-listed bluestone building on Gleadell St. that was built in the 1880s to accommodate those overseeing the Richmond gas operations which were located next door. The building has retained many of its period features and provides a comfortable and flexible learning environment that feels like ‘part school, part home’.

FLIP students engage in core subjects such as Literacy and Numeracy, and negotiate to study areas of interest to them, such as Hands-On Learning, Art, and Cooking. Through regular attendance and participation, students transition from The House to the main campus in a staged process that reflects their progress.
