Learning and Teaching

Dear Families,

As we come to the end of another busy term, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the incredible learning taking place across our school!

From developing strong foundations in Literacy and Mathematics to building our understanding and curiosity of the world, through Knowledge Rich Units, our students have continued to work hard, challenge themselves and grow as learners. It has been wonderful to see students applying what they have learnt with increasing confidence and independence.

We are already looking ahead to Term 4, with lots of exciting learning planned across the school. We are delighted to share some of the learning our Grade 3–5 students will explore through their upcoming novel studies:

Grade 3: ‘The One and Only Ivan’ by Katherine Applegate

Grade 4: ‘His Name Was Walter’ by Jennifer Rowe

Grade 5: ‘The Last Bear’ by Hannah Gold

We encourage you to consider listening to the audiobooks over the holidays to help students get the most out of these incredible texts. These titles are available on platforms such as Audible and Spotify, making them easy to enjoy at home or on the way to school.

We are grateful for the ongoing support you provide at home, working alongside our dedicated teachers to ensure our students have the best possible learning opportunities and outcomes.

We hope everyone has a wonderful break and takes some time to rest, recharge and enjoy the holidays. We look forward to seeing our students back for another term of learning!
