SRC 2025

The Student Representative Council (SRC) have worked hard to launch the food waste program for 2025. This initiative encourages students in Years 3-6 to put food waste scraps (apple cores, bread, banana peels etc.) into classroom caddies, which then are put into the green bins for council collection. This way, our food scraps are turned into compost instead of going to landfill. The SRC created posters that are now displayed in the classrooms and spoke to their classes about the importance of sustainability. We’re proud of the SRC's efforts and look forward to seeing our students take on an active role in caring for the planet!
