St Patrick's Mass for Schools
On Friday, 21st March, our Year 6 School Captains and Religious Education Leaders had the privilege of attending the St Patrick’s Mass for Schools at St Patrick’s Cathedral. This special gathering brought together students from across the Melbourne Archdiocese, creating a powerful sense of unity and shared faith.
The Mass was led by Archbishop Peter A. Comensoli, who spoke about the importance of being ‘Pilgrims of Hope’ as we are in the Year of Jubilee. He encouraged students to embrace their faith journey with courage, kindness, and a sense of mission, reminding them that they have the power to bring hope to those around them.
A highlight of the day was the unveiling of a special artwork of St Patrick, a stunning piece that beautifully represents his legacy and the faith he brought to Ireland and beyond.
For our school leaders, this experience was not only a chance to represent our community but also an opportunity to reflect on their roles. The Mass included a special commissioning of our Jubilee Student Ambassador for 2025, Keira Fernando. She will help to bring the Jubilee to life in our school.
We are incredibly proud of our students for embracing this experience with reverence and enthusiasm. May they continue to walk as Pilgrims of Hope, leading with faith and being shining examples of our school’s values throughout the year
