Blessings on your Baptism!
Congratulations to Mary, Abigail, Agnes, Bennet, and Lucy on receiving the Sacrament of Baptism last weekend at St. Joseph’s Parish! Baptism is a meaningful milestone in the Catholic faith, symbolizing a new life in Christ. Through this sacrament, they have received God’s grace and joined the Church family. May this special occasion be the beginning of a lifelong journey filled with faith, love, and blessings.
Year 3 Reconciliation
We warmly congratulate our Year 3 students who have recently received the Sacrament of Reconciliation. As part of their preparation, they took part in a retreat day, where they deepened their understanding of the sacrament and were given a guided tour of the church, including the choir loft, by our parish priest, Father Gallacher. Their dedication and commitment throughout the term have been truly inspiring. Please keep them in your prayers as they continue to grow in faith.
Caritas Project Compassion
As part of our Lenten journey, students have brought home a Caritas Project Compassion box. This initiative encourages us to focus on the three pillars of Lent—prayer, fasting, and almsgiving—inviting us all to reflect on the needs of others and act with compassion. A kind reminder that all donations are due by the 31st March. Prizes will be awarded to the class that raises the most money, as well as the class that creates the longest coin line. Our SRC students from each class will be actively involved in this exciting process.
Holy Week Celebrations
Students from Prep to Grade 6 will be learning about Holy Week through special activities. Each grade will present a liturgy in the school hall to share their learning. After the liturgies, families are invited to visit classrooms to see students' work and celebrate their progress.
We welcome all families to join us for these special events.
