Parola Del Giornio – Italian ‘Word of the Day’ for Grades 3 to 6

Students have been asked to use Google Translate to find a new word to add to their Italian Vocabulary. These are posted on a special display in the classroom with a new word or phrase added each week. Here are some examples from students in their recent lessons:

Vito- Italian word - Aquila meaning ‘eagle’

Nina- Italian phrase -  Parli Inglese Fluetemente? meaning ‘Do you speak English fluently?’

Sunny – Italian phrase - Lei parla inglese? meaning  ‘Do you speak English’

Laila – Italian word-  Fragola meaning strawberry

Holly – Italian phrase - Hai visto il mio…? meaning ‘Have you seen my….?’
