We have had volunteers come forward to be a class representative for their child’s class in 2026. We are still hoping to fill some other classes if you are interested. At this stage, we are yet to have a class representative for:
Senior 6 McInnes
If you would like to be a class representative this year, please let Josh know in person or via email at jsmith@stkennington.catholic.edu.au

As we transition back into school for 2026, maintaining an attendance rate of 95% or higher continues to be a key focus for our school community. This not only means attending school every day, but also arriving on time and ready to learn, with classes opening at 8:50 am and learning commencing at 9:00 am.
Regular attendance plays a vital role in supporting academic success, establishing positive routines, and promoting student wellbeing.
In future newsletters, we will share updates on our attendance rates, and at school assemblies we will continue to recognise and celebrate students and classes who achieve an attendance rate of 95% or higher.

Throughout 2025, we worked in partnership with Classroom Mastery to implement a range of consistent routines across our school. This work was strengthened through aligned expectations and a strong school culture, helping to support positive and effective learning environments for all students.
Our routine focus for the first two weeks of school will be the Classroom Mastery routine ‘Cue to Start’. This routine supports students to be ready for learning, actively listen to instructions, and engage meaningfully in explicit teaching and learning experiences.
