Wellbeing

Hello SEPS Community,
My name is Eileen Lunney Thompson, and this year I am the SEPS Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader and Inclusion Coordinator. In these roles, I support our school community by promoting positive mental health, helping staff identify and support students who may be experiencing challenges, and connecting families with appropriate supports both within and beyond the school.
I work closely with teachers to plan reasonable adjustments and Tier 3 supports for students with additional learning needs. I also lead Student Support Group (SSG) meetings, coordinate Disability Inclusion Profile processes, and support the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
My goal is to ensure all students at SEPS feel supported, included, and able to thrive. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or would like to connect.
Hi Sandy East!
My name is Sean Daley, and I am a level 2 teacher and the Wellbeing Coordinator at SEPS. In my wellbeing role, I work primarily at a Tier 1 and Tier 2 level, supporting high-quality classroom practice, inclusive school-wide approaches, and early intervention strategies that help all students feel connected, supported, and ready to learn.
I work closely with amazing staff to strengthen universal wellbeing practices, build consistent routines and expectations, and support students who may benefit from targeted Tier 2 supports before challenges escalate. This includes working alongside teachers, education support staff, and families to promote positive behaviour, engagement, and belonging across the school.
I am also very honoured to be deepening our students’ connections with the broader community, strengthening partnerships that enrich learning, wellbeing, and a sense of shared responsibility for our young people.
Together with Eileen, our aim is to ensure every student at SEPS feels known, supported, and able to thrive. Please feel free to reach out for support.
