Recruitment Online (ROL) Updates

The Department has advised of important updates to the ROL system that have taken effect as from Saturday 7 December 2024.  These changes aim to enhance the efficiency of Teacher Recruitment Initiative (TRI) vacancy process and to streamline ROL’s auto-matching functionality for all users. 

When a vacancy is added to the Job Opportunity Pool, an auto-matching function is run overnight, whereby any candidates in the pool whose preferences match that vacancy will be attached and added as applicants to that vacancy. As of Saturday 7 December, only applicants who have uploaded a resume/curriculum vitae or completed their profiles will be matched to Teacher Recruitment Initiative (TRI) vacancies. Applicants who have not fulfilled one of these requirements will not be matched to vacancies.

Along with the system updates, a system rebrand will occur in January, introducing a refreshed look, improve user experience and provide more prominence to Victorian government schools recruitment.
