Art Therapy (Naomi) and Music Therapy (Vas) at TPS

Hi everyone!

My name is Vas and I'm a Registered Music Therapist who works part-time at TPS. Registered Music Therapists use music-based methods like improvisation, songwriting, music listening and instrumental play to support the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities.

I have experience working with children and young people who are neurodivergent, have experienced trauma, have experienced grief or loss, have intellectual or physical disabilities, have chronic illnesses and have mental health conditions. I work in a strengths-based and child-led way, which aims to build upon the existing interests, strengths and passions of children.

I currently have availability for 2025. If you would like to get in contact to have a chat about how Music Therapy can support your child, please email skylarkmusictherapy@gmail.com

Kii TPS Families,

For those who don't know me, this is Naomi, an Art Therapist and Social Worker, who offers Play and Creative Arts Therapy for students at TPS. Play and Creative Arts Therapy is a form of therapy that is similar to counselling, however it provides children with the opportunity to express themselves through play and the creative arts, as they work through their challenges and conflicts with the gentle support and guidance of the therapist.

There are a few places available for students at TPS next year. Please see the flyer above for more information, or feel free to contact me if you'd like to secure a place for your child next year.
