Celebrating Learning

DRAMA

I am in Drama this term for my electives, and it’s so much fun. We have been watching/analysing theatre productions and we’ve just started acting out our own scripts. My group is doing a scene from Alice In Wonderland and I get to be a crazy hare. It’s been really interesting learning about terms used in theatre and I love the drama games that we have been playing. Charlotte      

MEDIA & FILM

This term in the media, film and photography unit we have been taught about camera angles, shot sizes and how to make an engaging short film. At the start of this unit, we just made a little movie and then the weeks after we did a mini project each week with shot sizes and in week 7, we started storyboarding and scripting our movie for our big project which is to make a 2-minute movie. In the STEM elective this term we are making a life-sized version of the school in Minecraft. We are also making 3D printed name tags on Tinkercad which is a 3D modelling website.
