Rainbow of Learning
Oh no, it has all come to an end, the year lies before us in a gorgeous rainbow of memories. The students and I have been organising their main lesson books into a neat package. Looking at our previous lessons has been glorious as we fondly remember all of the stories we have heard and the learning we have completed. These books have been bound together with wool and should be home by now. We finish the year out focusing more on our Multiplication and Writing. Below some students have mentioned their thoughts on their favourite main lessons throughout the year.
Jethro says “I really liked the Kalevala Main Lesson and enjoyed Fractions where we cut out circles, and I enjoyed the writing of Poetry”.
Ila says “I really enjoyed the Geometry Main Lesson and the Mapping Main Lesson, the drawing in these was really nice and enjoyable”.
Hazel says “I really liked the Class Play Main Lesson because it was a lot of work to lead into a big performance”.
Delilah says “I really liked Geometry and it was really fun learning about different shapes and using the compass and protractor”.
Leo says “I liked the Multiplication and Division Main Lesson as it was really fun and learning about how to complete the box method in multiplication”.
Louis says “I liked the Kalevala one as it was nice learning about the Sampo”.
Ambrose says “The Kalevala Main Lesson at the start was very enjoyable. I also really liked the History and Art of Writing lesson. I think that the Poetry was a really fun main lesson too”.
