Father's Day Breakfast

You can eat pancakes year round, but yesterday it was on a very special occasion: The Father’s Day Breakfast at Ormond PS! With 321 people joining our breakfast it was “a happy brekkie”. With happy fathers and happy children who could play on the school grounds after breakfast. We were very lucky with the nice spring weather. 

A special thanks to the Year 4 parents for organizing this breakfast.

Hot Hot Hot - Our P&F Thermometer

At last weeks assembly Kathryn and Rachel showed us our new thermometer banner that shows all money raised through our Parents & Friends Fundraising over 2018/2019. The thermometer total at the moment is just over $40k!!! The response to this at assembly was wonderful! The thermometer is currently on display in the front office, make sure you have a look next time your going through. 

A big thank you for all of our lovely families and community! Without your help and effort, we couldn’t raise this amount.

The money raised by P&F in 2018 was used to get the new outdoor seating, which will be installed and ready to use in the coming weeks.

With 2019 fundraising, we will be contributing towards the capital works as well as some of the Walk-a-thon money being used to replenish some library books and new board games which the students can use during lunchtime at school.
