Dates for Term Three: 

Wednesday 1st August Drama Toolbox Incursion for Green Group 

Monday 20th August Drama Toolbox Incursion for Purple Group 

Tuesday 21st August Drama Toolbox Incursion for Orange Group 

Week beginning Monday 27th August Dental checkups for all children, provided permission forms were returned by 22nd June. 

Thursday 6th September Pet Education Incursion for Purple and Orange Group 

Art Festival

Date: Thursday 6th September. From 4.30pm. 

Family tickets will be on sale closer to the date. Tickets are $5 per family for kinder families. 

This year the kindergarten is participating in the whole school Art Festival. Each kindergarten child will have a piece of art work displayed in the exhibition, which will be held in the PAC. We will be spending the week of the Art Festival engaged in a range of creative arts learning experiences. There will be more information in coming weeks. 

Free!

In preparation for the beginning of building work later in the year, we are beginning to clear the community room. There is a second hand two seat couch and two arm chairs that we would rather see being put to use. If you would like, or know of anyone who would like the couch and arm chairs, please speak with staff at the kindergarten. 

Removal from the kindergarten and transport would be the responsibility of the new owners. 

Staff Leave 

During Term Three some staff will be taking leave. We have as much as possible kept relief staffing consistent, so there is limited impact on children. 

Simone will be away from Wednesday,  8th August to Tuesday, 28th August, taking long service leave. While Simone is away Naomi and Belinda plus a relief teacher will cover Purple Group. Naomi will be there each Monday, Belinda each Thursday and Josie Zhu on Wednesdays. The relief teacher we had booked for Wednesdays is no longer available. 

Saori will be on personal leave from Thursday, 16th August, to Friday 4th September. Kanwal and Yumi will be relieving while Saori is away. Kanwal will be with Orange Group Tuesdays and Thursdays. Yumi will be there for the Friday sessions. 

Naomi will be away from Tuesday,  4th September to Friday 21st, September, on long service leave. Whilst Naomi is away Simone and Belinda will be teaching in Orange group. Simone will be there each Tuesday and Friday. Belinda will be there each Thursday.
