Parent Information Night Survey Results

Thank you to the 210 parents who participated in our recent survey following this year's Parent Information Night.   Key findings from this survey include:

• Approximately 72% families were represented at the 2018 Parent Information Night
• The single largest reason for non-attendance was inability to arrange childcare
• 72% of parents found the Parent Information Evening useful to vital
• 82% of parents found the Year Level Booklet useful to vital

The major themes emerging from parent suggestions for improvement include:

- Offering different nights or times to enable parents to attend sessions for children in multiple year levels

- Clearer communication regarding the location of resources on Compass

- Desire for more regular communication of curriculum information to enable parents to support learning at home

- Clearer and earlier communication of camp dates specifically and other school events more generally

We thank all parents for taking this time to provide useful, constructive suggestions for improvement which will be included in future planning for improvements.
