BreastScreen Victoria mobile screening service
The BreastScreen Victoria mobile screening service returns to Leongatha with free breast screens and is now open for appointments between 1 July and 2 August 2019.
The program specifically targets women between the ages of 50-74 with a written invitation, and women from 40 and over 74 are also eligible to attend our free service. The eligible women of Korumburra, Leongatha, Koonwarra and surrounding areas are encouraged to attend our mobile service whilst it is located in town. Our aim is to provide breast screening to at least 950 women during the visit. The mobile service will once again be located outside South Gippsland Health Service, 66 Koonwarra Road, Leongatha.
Breast Screens are with a female radiographer – you don’t need a GP referral or Medicare card, and they only take 10 minutes.

ST VINNIES WINTER APPEAL
Everyone has winter items that you or your children may have grown out of or are of no use to you, but would be very much appreciated by families or people who are struggling at this time of the year. We are collecting clean winter coats in great condition and clean blankets for the St Vinnies Winter Appeal. Please leave your donations at the office.
