Preps Learning from Home

This week in prep we continue to learn the sounds of letters and reading strategies such as getting our mouth ready for the beginning sound in words, retelling stories and making predictions.

In writing we are discovering the reasons why we write: to communicate ideas and messages, and students have been writing letters and cards to family and friends.

In math we have been learning the language of direction and Friends of Ten: 2 numbers added that equal 10.

The prep teachers continue to be amazed at the wonderful effort students are applying to their work. Thank you for all your photos and videos. A big round of applause and appreciations to our fabulous families who are doing a great job supporting students in their learning.
