Students in the Frame, Capture and Edit elective have been working on building their practical and theoretical photography skills and understanding. Students have developed their ability to compose and edit photos focusing on key areas such as landscape photography, colour and black and white photography, theme-based photography, lighting and editing. Students have created some amazing portfolios of work. Here are some examples of their work.
Students began Media units by learning about genre and their conventions. They learnt how to use features of their chosen genres to target their audiences through the designing of movie posters.
Students have also been working on developing narratives and building on their production skills. Students were able to create a variety of digital stories in the form of short films and stop motion using the camera and storytelling techniques learned in class.
