School Community News

School Community encompasses the following areas: Parents, Parish, School Advisory Council and wider community

We are so happy to be able to let you know that Orientation Day will be going ahead on December 8th. The evening prior to this we will be holding another virtual Parent information session for families with students attending CHS in 2021.

Hello Incoming Coburg High School Families for 2021,

Hello again and thank you for bearing with us as we have waited for restrictions to ease. We are pleased to announce that all students will be welcome on site for Transition Day which will be an important first step in your child’s CHS journey. Our parent evening will sadly have to run online, but after the success of our last meeting we should have this one covered.

Please join us from 6:00pm - 7:00pm online Monday 7th December.

As with last time, Students, Parents and Carers are all welcome with only one 'ticket' needed per family. Present at this forum will be our School Principal: Stewart Milner, Assistant Principal: Gary Vella, Assistant Principal, Belinda Parini, Acting Year Seven and Transition Leader: Angela Schnieder, Wellbeing Coordinator: Nicole Neale, and our IT coordinator, Ramsey Duncan.

To confirm, while our Parent Information Session must run remotely, the Orientation Day will be going ahead onsite and we are so excited to welcome our new students in person. All students should arrive at CHS by 8.45am on Tuesday 8th December and bring the following:

  • Face mask
  • Water bottle
  • Packed lunch
  • Stationery for classwork

We would also like to remind families that the office will be open for families to pick up a final enrollment pack on Monday 7th December and return any paperwork.

Register to this online event and obtain free tickets here. Details for this zoom meeting will be provided when you register.

Looking forward to seeing you all online,

Angela Schneider
