A warm welcome back from the PFA

The St Francis de Sales Parents & Friends Association (PFA) is an active part of our wonderful school community. The PFA host many special events for our students throughout the year, including fun lunches, icy pole days, discos, raffles and many more fantastic events for our wider community such as our Mother’s day brunch, Father’s day breakfast, morning/afternoon teas & various sausage sizzles!

Each of our fundraising activities are used to directly benefit the students and school community.

We thank the members of the PFA Committee for volunteering their time so that we can

enrich the school experience for every SFS student.

It’s not too late to join, new members are always welcome!!

You are warmly invited to join the 2021 P&F Committee. Our first meeting will be held on Wednesday 17th February at 7:15pm in the community room. You don’t need to be a 

Committee member to attend our meetings, all are welcome!!

Get involved, be a parent helper!

Our events are only successful because of all the support and participation we get from 

our SFS parents & carers. For almost all our events throughout the year we will seek out 

volunteers, and by working together we foster great school community spirit and of 

course the students love seeing their parent/carer at school events!! You will however

need a current working with children check (WWCC) you can apply for this online

It’s free to apply as a volunteer and please ensure the school office has a copy of your

WWCC.

Icy Poles / Popcorn & Chips

Every Friday we sell either Icy Poles (terms 1&4) or Popcorn/chips (terms 2&3) The cost is 50c per item and we would love volunteers who are available between 10:55-11:25am on Fridays. If you would like to be added to the roster please contact Lourdes Iape at sfspfa@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au

Fortnightly Morning & Afternoon Teas

Once given the all clear with Covid restrictions, the PFA will be hosting our wonderful morning/afternoon teas. They are a great way to mingle, enjoy a free cuppa and sweet and of course meet other parents/carers so watch this space!!

Second hand Uniforms

The PFA also run the second hand uniform shop. These uniforms have kindly been donated by many SFS families when their children have outgrown their uniforms. All items are only $5 each.  If you have any enquiries about donating items or questions on when the shop is open please contact Elena Senise at sfspfa@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au

Remember to get your forms filled out and returned by next Friday 12th February so that your child does not miss out!!

Every Friday – Icy poles for sale (don’t forget the 50c)
