World of Maths Incursion

On Thursday 24 November, the Year 7 students participated in a 'World of Maths' incursion where they had the opportunity to learn and express a variety of different skills and strategies needed for problem solving in real life situations. They participated in a guided discovery lesson and identified many mathematical concepts and ideas in a fun environment. Working together in small groups, the students analysed mathematical problems through investigation, comparison and reflection.
