IMPORTANT REMINDER

Year 6 Swimming Program

The Year 6 swimming program will commence on Monday 28th November until Friday 2nd December at Bluewater. Lesson times will be as follows:

12.00 noon – 12.30 pm - 6KT

12.30 pm – 1.00 pm – 6LG

All grade six children will leave school at 11:30am and return approximately at 1:30pm.

Children need to wear their swim gear (bring them in a bag if they are one piece), a towel, goggles etc.  Children need to have their swimming gear in a separate swim bag to their school bag.  Please make sure that everything is clearly labelled, even their shoes. Children may like to wear their sports uniform on their swimming day.

Regional T-20 Cricket

Unfortunately due to the current weather situation, the Regional T-20 cricket that was supposed to be played today in Ballarat has been postponed. A tentative booking has been made for Tuesday 29th November, but this is still to be confirmed. Information will be sent to parents as soon as everything is definite. 

Foundation to 4 Activity Day

A big thank you to all the children and teachers who were involved in the Foundation to Year 4 Activity Day. After speaking to some of our children, they all said that they had a good morning at the school they were at. Congratulations to our Year 6 children who were the leaders for the Year 4 Activity Day held at Sacred Heart. There were many positive comments about how well they organised the activities, and the positive attitude they displayed to the younger students. 

Respect Cup Netball

On Thursday 1st December, some of our Year 5 girls have been selected to represent Sacred Heart at the Barwon Health Respect Cup. This is a new initiative that will teach the students not only the skills of netball, but other life skills. This will take place at the Colac Football Club. More information will be sent to parents via PAM. Students will need to wear their sports uniform and school hat on this day.
