FrogID Week is the annual snapshot of frog species across Australia. Each year, thousands of people take part by recording frog calls with the free FrogID app and help measure the health and distribution of frogs across Australia.
From croaks and barks, to whistles and bleats, every frog species makes a unique sound. Using the free FrogID app, you can record the frogs calling around you and help us count Australia’s frogs.
In 2021, together we recorded over 37,000 frog calls and with your help in 2022, we can continue to create a better picture of Australia’s unique amphibians.

Tips for Sustainability:
1. Another place to recycle your blister packs (ie: from medication) is with Banish. Click here to find out more on what they take and your nearest location.
2. Join Zero Waste Freebies Victoria FB group to give away items you no longer want and maybe find something that you want.
3. You can add used toilet rolls, paper towel rolls, cereal and tissue boxes, shredded paper, newspaper (not glossy) plus leaves to your compost. This adds carbon to your compost keeping it balanced, reduces the wetness and prevents flies from living in there to fly into your face when you open it.
