YEAR 5 TRIATHLON

On Tuesday and Wednesday, most of the Year 5 students participated in the school triathlon. With the poor weather recently, it was great that we were able to fit the triathlon in. Many of the students were quite nervous and apprehensive at the start, but it was always reiterated that it was an "experience" for the students, and not to be seen as a race. With this in mind, the students really embraced the activity, and set their own personal goals for them to achieve. Once finished, not only did the students feel a great sense of achievement, they loved the experience and wanted to do it again.

Congratulations to the Year 5 students who completed the school triathlon this week. Thank you to the parents and grandparents who came along to support all the students as well as assisting with supervision.
