Principal's Report

Dear St A's community,

Another successful 2 weeks at school have flown by!  Over the past 2 week, we have had Grade 5/6 swimming, the St A's Visual Art Show and Picnics, Five 2023 Prep transition sessions, Remembrance Day Liturgy, Grade 1/2 excursion to Twisted Science, Grade 5/6 Cricket Gala and a long weekend - including a curriculum day and a public holiday! Its been super busy and we are so proud of all of the wonderful opportunities that the children's at St A's get to experience and be part of.

Thankyou to our wonderful community for stepping out on Wednesday night to attend the Visual Arts show!  The art talent on display was incredible and it was absolutely amazing too see all creations that our students have created in their Visual Art lessons.  Well done to all of the student's for their hard work and dedication and another big thankyou to Mrs K - for all of her hard work to get the Art show up and running and the countless hours behind the scenes.   On the night we also had the  talented choir performance and some musicians playing their guitars!   Fantastic musical talent on display as well!  Well done to all the choir and to Harry, Luca and Harvey!

Remembrance Day

Remembering 104 years ago.

Every year at 11am on 11 November - the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month - we pause to remember those men and women who have died or suffered in all wars, conflicts and peace operations.  Remembrance Day commemorates the end of the hostilities for the Great War, the signing of the armistice, which occurred on 11 November 1918. - 104 years ago! Today our students took part in a Remembrance Day liturgy in the hall, to mark this occasion an pay their respects.

School Hats

Just a reminder to all parents that the students need to be wearing their school hats everyday when they are outside!  Please make sure that your child has a school hat at school.

School Fees

Thankyou to the families that have been keeping up to date with their school fees.  A reminder Operoo did go out this week to remind families.  We really appreciate your support.

Have a good weekend and hopefully enjoy the sunshine if we get any!
