Hello RHPS families,

The 2023 P&F Committee...

We recently held our AGM and it was just lovely to see some new faces and interest in the Committee. This year we sadly farewell Julie Hays, Julie Quirk and Bec Van Dyk. We also say farewell to Rachael Asbury, who has been on the RHPS Committee for 12 years now! We thank these ladies for their lovely contribution to our school. 


We welcome the 2023 Committee of:

General Committee: Jeannine Derum, Tara Hickman, Meagan Van den helm, Kerrin Shannon and Leigh Marriott. We also have a few more people currently in the process of joining. 

Movie Day...

Don't forget movie tickets are on sale now. 

When: Monday 28th November

Where: Reading Cinemas, 239-241 Maroondah Hwy, Chirnside Park, 3116

Session Time: 10am

Movie: Disney's 'Strange World' 

Tickets: $14 per person - all people attending must have a ticket.


This is NOT a supervised event. All children attending must be suitably supervised by an adult, as they would going to a regular movie. We just have the whole cinema booked for RHPS for something fun to do on a Student Free Day.

Election Day...

On Saturday 26th November there is a State Election.  Rolling Hills Primary School will be hosting a BBQ and Cake Stall on the Day. There will also be a Book Fair! 


Information about these events has been posted on Compass. Plates and instructions for the bake sale will be going home soon. 


VOLUNTEERS: We are  seeking volunteers to assist us with the BBQ and Cake Stall.  We would really love your support.  Please consider donating just 2 hours of your time to come and help us out.

Christmas donations...

The P&F team are seeking generous donations for the end of year Christmas Raffle. This year, we are asking for donations of items just for CHILDREN. Please ensure all donations are new.  Some examples might be: vouchers, toys, books, art supplies.... 


Please send your donations to school, or drop them to the office no later than Friday 2nd December.

Trivia in 2023...

In 2023, the P&F will finally be hosting a Trivia Night! This will be one of our major fundraising events for the year and we are super excited!  To organise this event, we have created an informal sub-committee, basically a team of helpers!  We would love for some more people from the community to help us organise this event and make it a fabulous success!  


If formally joining the P&F is not for you, but, you are interested in helping organise just the Trivia Night, then we'd love to hear from you!  Perhaps you have a particular set of expertise; are great at organising; have some spare time to help us collect wonderful donations; enjoy being creative with decorations or are a new parent!


What's involved? We might meet a few times over zoom or coffee here and there.  Then, you can do most of the organising in your own time.  You can do as little or as much as you can manage, it's just an informal team of helpers :)


If there is anyone in our community who might have some great products/services or contacts that we could use for our Silent Auction we'd also love to hear from you!
