Years 3/4/5/6

Here is what we have been up to this week...

Students completed a mystery Halloween reading comprehension activity. They worked in pairs or groups of three to crack different codes and retrieved clues needed to eliminate suspects.

The students practiced the play. It is coming along nicely.

Students in Years 3-6 also started working on their entries for Dan Tehan's Christmas Card Competition. This year's theme is 'Christmas Food in the Wannon'. We broke the theme down into three key parts (Christmas, Christmas Food and Wannon) and brainstormed what each of these parts means or looks like to us. Students had to be creative to merge the three parts into the one design. They finished their designs and have started their good copies.

We had so much fun when Mietta and Hughie shared their gorgeous puppies with us!

We loved meeting Fletcher and Talia's cute ducks!
