Diversity Day

Last week the school came together to celebrate Diversity Day! We all dressed in purple, traditional dress or clothing that meant something special to us. We also completed tasks on why we are special and how we are unique and why we should be proud to celebrate differences! The school enjoyed a whole school picnic together on the basketball court and we all had a great time!

We were able to raise $169.30. This money will be used to  increase the range of diverse literacy resources in the classroom libraries.

The Resilience Project

The Resilience Project is coming to Maroondah this November!

The Resilience Project explores evidence-based approaches to building resilience, in order to develop and sustain positive mental health. The workshop outlines gratitude, empathy (kindness) and mindfulness strategies and discusses simple ways you can practice these in your daily life. The session will be presented by Martin Heppell, former AFL player and inspirational speaker.
