Relationships

What will I miss about Yarrabah?
I will miss the people – the wonderful students, staff, families and the broader community members.
To everyone in the Yarrabah school family, I have so many wonderful memories and connections with both students and staff to take with me. Yarrabah School has been such an important part of my life for the past 25 years and what a journey it has been. I was first employed as a teacher, then privileged enough to be a leader and an Assistant Principal in this wonderful school. To acknowledge individuals would be and is too difficult. Over the years I have had the pleasure of working with so many wonderful people and I want to acknowledge the hard work they do each and every day.
To the staff, parents, community members and most of all our students, I say farewell but not goodbye. I will miss you all and have the knowledge that you are in such wonderful care.
I hope you remember me occasionally as I will always remember you and what you have given me. It has been a privilege to be a part of the Yarrabah journey.

Respectful Relationships
Throughout Term 2 and 3 students at our school have been looking for, taking part, and role playing concepts about Respect. The result was an amalgamation of ideas from their point of view of what RESPECT means to them. We have had some interesting discussions with them as well.
The display in front of the office is the result of all the ideas that the students have either drawn or written about RESPECT.
