Access St Nicholas School Library at home

This is a how-to guide to access the St Nicholas School Library site - OLIVER at home.

This site offers information regarding the resources in the library and the products St Nicholas School Library subscribes to.

Open Curriculum → drop down menu to LIBRARY → scroll down to click on OLIVER.

What can I do?

Borrow an ebook or audio book from the Armidale Library.

*Read it on your computer browser OR download the SORA app from the App Store and remember to click on the Catholic Schools Office Armidale Diocese.

2. Open the WorldBook online link, research, open an ebook and     

       read it in your computer browser or download the WorldBook   

       Ebook app online.  If you are interested in home access ask your child to come into the library for a bookmark with login information.

 3. Read from PK mag, browse previous editions and the latest edition.

 4. Play games.

 5. Check out books to borrow next term.

BOOK BUZZ

Mr Chamberlain was our special guest last week. We really enjoyed listening to his own reading experiences in his primary years and sharing what where and when he likes to read most.

Roald Dahl's Imaginormous Challenge - Australia

This is a fantastic story idea writing competition. Willy Wonka is searching for the most fantastic, brilliant story writing ideas from 5 - 12 yr olds across Australia to transform into wonderful creations.

Great prizes to be won. Ask your child about this.

Students must register at home with parental permission.

Entries close April 16th.

PREMIER'S READING CHALLENGE

100% Participation = 100% Completion.

Students from Kinder, Yr 1 and Yr 2 have now begun borrowing the "green dot" books which must be recorded on the reading log.

Please ensure reading logs are kept in the library bag please.

Students from Yrs 3, 4, 5 and 6 are becoming particularly adept at recording their PRC books on the site .

If you would like your child's login details please let me know.
