 ART WORKSHOPS FOR AGES 12-25 YEARS

West Wimmera Shire Council will be running art sessions on 29 June and 6 July from 10.30am to 12.00pm at the library. Suitable for ages 12-25, over-18s must have a current Working With Children Check to attend.

Follow your creative dreams at Horsham Regional Art Gallery!

School holiday program is just around the corner ... as well as Art Club and Mini Makers Storytime kicks off on the 19 July at HRAG so don't miss out book now.  

Cindy Francis our education officer would love to invite you all to join in the fun for preschoolers and primary school kids. Please share this information in your school newsletters, social media pages and your family friends!SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM Tuesday June 28 & July 5: ** Please note the ages for our school holiday programs are slightly different to regular programs.**

  • Mini Makers Storytime session for 0-5 yo Tuesday June 28 from 10-10.45am. Theme.......Earth Elements (Primary School siblings welcome to attend) cost $5 per family
  • Art Gallery School Holiday Program for 6-12 yo Tuesday June 28 from 1-2.30pm. Theme ... Big and Little, collage and drawing, collaborate and create! This session is all about little critters and how we can be inspired to create artworks in response to them. Cost $12 per child.

AND ............this is the really exciting part!

  • Art Gallery Workshop Tuesday July 5,  1-3pm for Teenagers /Adults.  Artist lead workshop with proud Wotjobaluk woman Gail Harradine in collaboration with Belinda Eckermann and their exhibition “Mali marrng Mallee sky”. Be inspired to create a piece of small wearable art. Cost $25 per participant .

TERM 3 STARTS JULY 19:Mini Makers Storytime 0-5 year starts Tuesday 19 July every fortnight from 10am to 10:45am for $5/family per session. Let’s get together around art and storytelling!  Art for our Mini Makers is all about discovery and fun … unleash your child’s creativity through wonderful books and fun art activities.

  • Art Club starts Tuesday 19 July, 4-5:30pm for children aged 7-12 for $12/child. Art Club about connecting young artists and making art in new and creative ways. Enroll your child in a fun creative journey over 6 weeks learning some new skills with local artists. Bring along your imagination, fun and enthusiasm to Art Club and gain support and encouragement for creating!
