The Chair-ity Project

Year 8 Art 

Year 8G art students under the guidance of their teacher Ms Lisa Blumenstein have taken on a very special art tasks this semester - The Chair-ity project. A donated wooden chair (thank you Ms Kerry Archer) has been transformed into an aquatic-themed work of art. 

It’s now going to be auctioned with the funds going to the The Australian Marine Conservation Society. 

The whole class has been involved from creating a design for the chair; selection of the design and charity to support; marketing the concept; and finally painting the chair. 

The silent auction can begin. Use the attached form. It will close in early term 3. The winning bid will be contacted for payment and collection arrangements.
