Robotics Club

Join the RoboSapiens

Do you like building LEGO? Want to try building robots? Interested in learning about coding? Then the LEGO and Robotics club sounds just right for you!

The MGSC RoboSapiens are recruiting new members. We are looking for anyone who would be interested in building LEGO models, learning how to code, or just wanting to find out more about what we do in Robotics.

The Robotics club was founded in 2020 during the online learning period as a fun lunchtime meet up for students who wanted to learn more about coding and robotics. Over the course of 2 years, we’ve coded our own games, played online and in-person battle bots, solved missions and made lots of new friends.

The club attended their first ever robotics competition earlier this year as part of the FIRST LEGO League Challenge - a competition run annually across the globe. We went, we saw and we conquered. Our rookie team beat 15 other schools to win the Engineering Excellence Award.

Later this year we will be attending the same competition in hopes that we can emulate the same success we have had and would love for you to join us on our journey. We meet up every Friday at lunchtime in C5. If you would like to join us or just want to learn more about us, put your details on this form and we will get in touch with you.
