Parents Association Update:
We are just finishing the halfway mark of 2022. I am sure you are like me, and amazed how fast it went.
We have done some great fundraising so far, and wanted to keep you in the loop of what we have raised over the last 5 months, thanks to the school community.
Term 1

Total $10,000!! Whoop Whoop. Thank you for attending the events, and fundraising for the school.
We have lots of things coming up for Term 3 and 4. We organise these events and fundraisers to raise money for the school, but also to let the kids and parents socialise outside of school hours. Please keep in mind that all fundraisers are optional, and we have a variety of different events as we all have different interests and available time.

Come and Run, jump and climb with your classmates at Flipout in BoxHill.
Marlborough will get 50% of the sale of the tickets
Cost is $16 for 1 hour or $25 for two hours
Make your booking on trybooking so we know who is coming, but make payment the day of event.
Students will need to be supervised and a waiver will need to be signed.

Murder Mystery -Adult Fundraiser and raffle – Save the Date – Sept 10th
Theme: 1920’s – get your costumes organised
A murder mystery is a fun party game where one of the attendees is secretly playing a murderer. It is an exciting and unique event to mingle, laugh, dress up (optional) and take on rolls of the storyline. Be very involved, or sit back and watch the game unfold.
Trybooking and raffle tickets will be on sale from Term 3

Coin Wars will be happening in Term 3 – Start collecting your coins. Details to come in Term 3.
Beanies - We still have some Marlborough Beanies left to sell. You can always get them at the office, or Elisa will be around at early pick up on Friday.
Food and Casserole Bank
💚 F O O D + C A S S E R O L E B A N K 💚
Our wonderful Food + Casserole Bank is in need of donations!
For those who are new to the school, our food + casserole bank functions to help out families in our community who are going through a difficult time such as family illness, additional stressors or for families who need some extra support on a regular basis.
We are in need of the following:
Meals for our casserole bank. If you are interested in helping out as a once off or on a regular basis to make meals that are able to be frozen please let me know and I’ll send you some more info!
Grocery items- this can be anything with a long shelf life. Cereals and snacks for lunchboxes or items that can be put together for an easy dinner are some of the most helpful items.
Self Care items- toiletry items, etc.
If you are interested in cooking a meal or going in to a roster to donate meals throughout the year, please contact me either via messenger or 0425 114 866
If you are interested in donating items, these can be handed in to the office.
If you know of a family or if you are a family who could benefit from our food bank please let myself or Christine Pillot know.
