Boarding

Navigating today’s challenges

Last week our boarders successfully completed their exams, and in addition some were also performing in the local Eisteddfod. It was wonderful to see the hard work paying off for Ariana Taylor and Cooper Stasinowsky last week. Both are highly skilled in piano and demonstrate a consistent dedication to their passion.

Ariana Taylor (Year 7) was successful in her performance receiving a first and second prize as well as an Honourable mention.  Cooper was successful in receiving a First Prize. We congratulate Ariana and Cooper upon their performance and deserving awards!

Serving the community – Winter Appeal

With mounting pressure on local families due to the cost of living, our boarders have decided to reach out and support our community. In the last two weeks of Term Two, our boarders and boarding staff are donating food and general living items in an attempt to alleviate the pressure placed upon families, in particular children.

Over these two weeks we have reached into our pockets and bought non-perishable items such as muesli bars, tinned fruit, baked beans, and general living items such as toothpaste, tissues, and shampoo. Our collective effort will be donated to the Uniting Church next week so this can then be delivered to families in need.

We hope our contribution can make life a little easier for some members of our local community.  Well done boarders and staff for your compassion, empathy, and citizenship.
