BOOK WEEK

Theme:  Animals Real and Make-believe

Diary dates - Monday 22nd August:  Book Fair opens

Tuesday 23rd August:  Themed Dress Up day and class parades

Wednesday 24th August:  Grandparents and Special Friend’s morning.

Thursday 25th August:  Book Fair closes.

It is with great excitement we announce that our wonderful Book Fair will return in August this year. Student voice voted for, “Animals Real and Make-believe”. All children at CEPS had a choice of topics, including the CBCA theme, “Dreaming with your eyes open”.

We all know that animals can be found in both fiction and non-fiction books. It’s a great theme and we look forward to seeing the imagination and creativity on display at our themed dress up day.

Our CEPS Grade Six Library Monitors: Hudson, William, Nicole, Ivie, Rehatt, Anastasia, Laura and our two Grade Five helpers, Taylah and Sophie are all organising competitions and creating posters based on our theme.

Book Week has always been one of the yearly highlights at CEPS. We all value books and our school library support every student’s love of reading.

Invitations to Grandparents and Special Friend’s Day will go home early in Term 3.

Further information about Book Week and the Book Fair will follow in July.

Happy holiday reading!
