Maths’ Life Skills

Recently our students experienced our school FETE and many students have also begun our Earn and Learn program. Both of these experiences enable our students to practice many life skills managing the use of money whilst also practising maths social skills. Students have had the opportunity to practice calculating change, adding, subtracting, estimating, pricing and using decimals, all skills that are very important for preparing our young people for adult life. These skills can be used in the workforce, used at home when budgeting, and also when shopping.
