Primary School Sports Festival At Numurkah Secondary College

All Grade 3 students will be attending the Numurkah Secondary College on Monday 1st April for a Sports Festival. Shoes suitable for participation in a Sports Festival must be worn, drink bottle is essential and SunSmart school hat and school uniform required. Fruit will be provided for morning tea, and a sausage sizzle is in place for lunch. Students will be leaving the Primary School at 9:30 and we expect to return around 2:00 pm.

Cross Country

On Thursday 4th April 2019, all Year 3-6 students will participate in the school’s annual Cross Country run. The students will run in age groups and girls / boys sections.

 

Where: We will assemble in age groups at the school’s front lawn, then proceed to the start which is diagonally across the road in the parkland, and finish back at the school in our age groups.

Time: 2.20pm

Dress Code: Students will need to wear appropriate running gear for this event. Students are required to wear shorts suitable for running in, as well as runners.

Medication: Students with asthma must carry their puffer whilst running. Other medications are to be handed to your teacher, and will be placed at the finish line.

 

We ask that all students participate in this event, as it is part of the school’s House Sports program.

  • A signed parent note is required for those not participating.

All parents are most welcome to come along and support our students.

 

Interschool Cross-Country will take place on Wednesday 1st May, at Princess Park, Shepparton. The top 2 place getters of each age group will be invited to this event.

 

Wet Weather: a back-up day will be organised, if need be.

Student/Parent/Teacher Conferences

The Term 1 Conferences will be held on Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd April between 3:30pm and 7pm. Jenny Sartoria will be unavailable on the Wednesday night and will hold her second night of Conferences on Thursday 4th April. Conferences can be booked through Compass, this will allow families to directly book a time that is suitable for them.
