IDAHOBIT

IDAHOBIT Day

The College recently celebrated IDAHOBIT – International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia & Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) Launched in 2004 to celebrate LGBTIQ people globally.

today, we use IDAHOBIT on May 17 to champion inclusion, and build a better world for the LGBTIQ community.

On the day the College hosted a morning tea, and a series of lunchtime awareness activities, including friendship bands workshop , a music festival in the yard and a hand painting tree mural. The day was a great success with students learning to “stand by their mates”.
