St Xavier's Athletics Carnival Thursday 24 June

We are very excited that we will be holding our St Xavier's Athletics Carnival on Thursday, 24 June at Donnelly Fields.

We can not run such a huge event without the help of our wonderful parents. We really need a few more helpers with timekeeping and field events. Please consider helping us out.

Please complete THE GOOGLE FORM if you are able to help on the day.

This is a compulsory school day for all students.

On the day, students will go straight to Donnelly Fields, DO NOT GO TO SCHOOL as no staff will be there. 

If your child catches a bus, the bus will drop off and pick up at Donnelly Fields.

All students will need to be at the fields by 8.45am. Students are encouraged to wear clothing in their house colours.

Further details will become available closer to the day.

High Jump and Discus

As in previous years (due to time constraints), high jump and discus events for 8 yrs (children turning 8 in 2021) -12 yrs will be held at school prior to the athletics carnival.

Parents are welcome to spectate (you must sign in at the front office and with the QR code).

Students participate in the age they turn this year.

Please note:

Discus- all 8 -12 yrs will compete in the event.

High jump- only students who have jumped the qualifying height (during PE lessons) will compete in the finals. You will be notified in the next few days if your child has qualified.

NSWCPS Cross Country

Last Tuesday, 8 June the following students travelled to Eastern Creek to compete at the NSWCPS Cross Country. All runners had fantastic results and should be very proud of their efforts:

NSWCPS Rugby Trials

Best of luck to Jedd Smallwood who will travel to Forbes this weekend as part of the Armidale Diocesan Rugby team to compete over two days at the NSWCPS Rugby Trials.
