Deputy Principals' Report

In this together

Taking a break

Now we have hit the halfway mark it is time to stop and take a break. Take some time to reflect on what we have already achieved. Take time to reflect on what we would still like to achieve for the year. We really have to take our hats off to our kids and parents. Coping so well through the rollersocaster of being in lockdown, remote learning and spending long periods of time away from familiy and friends. We can only pray that it is smooth sailing for the remainder of the year, but if not, we are well equipped to get through it together.

Some ideas for taking a break from the mouths of babes:

Spend more time hugging eachother, saying I love you, playing your favourite games, eating yummy food together (especially chocolate), reading stories together and most importantly remember to be kind to one another.

Whether you are off travelling or staying local, take a break and enjoy some time together. We look forward to seeing you all back, relaxed, refreshed and ready to thrive in two weeks.

Thanks again for your continued support and encouragement.

Any student that has adjustments for their learning is offered a PSG involving their high school in Term 3 or 4. This is an opportunity to discuss learning adjustments or any worries or concerns you may have with the relevant staff at the high school they will be attending.
