Wonder Recycling Rewards for Schools

Thank you to everyone who has been saving and sending in their used bread bags.

The collection period has now closed and we are unable to accept any more bread bags at school.

We were able to collect 1 and half boxes of plastic. Wow, those bread bags really squash down into nothing! We’ve sent them off to be weighed to see what sports equipment rewards we’ll receive.

Coles and Woolies Soft Plastics collection bins

If you would like to continue recycling your soft plastics, place them in a plastic bag and take them to Coles or Woolworths where they have collection bins for the public located at the front of their store.

More great things to promote sustainability are happening at St John's every week, including:

composting our fruit and vegetable scraps
feeding and nurturing our worm farm
maintaining our vegetable gardens
preparing for our chickens with the new fence going in
collecting lemons from the lemon tree
