It has been a busy two weeks at Killester. We commenced Term 4 with the school magazine final photos of teams and groups. We are certainly appreciative of the work that has been undertaken by the 2022 team, as it is a huge job compiling the Yearbook. On Monday this week the Year 10s finally managed to travel to Marysville for camp - it was two years in the making! The Year 9s headed off on Wednesday. Tonight we have the Arts Technology Exhibition in the Year 9 area, commencing at 6.30pm. It promises to be a wonderful night.
Next week we will farewell our Year 12 students with a school assembly and then their final liturgy and Graduation Night. After two years of being in and out of lockdowns, this year's cohort should feel very proud of their efforts.
Reminders:
There are no classes Monday Oct 31st and Tuesday Nov 1st, but the Year 12 VCAA exams will continue at the College. We wish our senior students well.
The Year 11 exams commence on Wednesday 9th November, with a study day on Tuesday 8th November. The Year 10 exams commence on Monday 14th November, with a study day on Friday 11th November.
With best wishes for the coming week.
Last Sunday, October 9th, we welcomed the Class of 1982 for their 40 year Reunion.
There was great laughter and many memories to be told.
Thanks for Kylie Taberner for assisting the alumni with the organisation of this event. It was fabulous to have thirty five of the Alumni back at the College.
Certainly the excitement escalated on the school tour, led by Lina, Theresa and Christeena from Year 10. We look forward to having some of these alumni members back for future events within the classes, as many are keen to be involved with the current students.
