Last week we Celebrated World teacher’s day. Let us pray for our teachers today.

Compassionate God, we know that every good gift and every perfect gift comes from you. So, we come to you now, to thank you for the gift of good teachers.

Thank you for teachers who use their gift of teaching to serve others. Thank you for teachers who encourage our students with patient instruction. Thank you for teachers who inspire our students, build them up, and prepare them for the future.

Thank you, for teachers who teach with all their heart, as though they were working for you. Thank you for teachers who teach with integrity, setting an example of goodness. Thank you for teachers who teach with wisdom and kindness.

O Lord, please bless our teachers; make your face to shine upon them and be gracious to them; Lord, look upon our teachers and shower them with peace.
