Design Technology Textiles – Year 8 Tie Dyeing Project

Over the last week in Textiles we have been looking at different Fabric Dyes and process. Students learnt about Indigenous Artist Katie West and some of the ways she used natural resources and processes to dye her fabric as a way of connecting to country. On Friday students were asked to bring in a white item of clothing they would use to Tie Dye – pictured are some of the results! Congratulations to these students and their work so far in textiles.
