DENTAL VAN

We were lucky to have the dental van at school for two days last week. Students were able to book in for check ups and have some work done if required. Below is a short story from one of our students on their experience with visiting the van.

A VISIT TO THE DENTAL VAN

I went to the dental van at school on Tuesday last week. It was really good because it didn’t take too long to get there and get your check-up. The dental van owners were really nice and welcomed us into the van and talked about how they were just checking your teeth and writing a little report on how your teeth are going, and if you need to go to the dentist in your local town to get anything done to your teeth. When we sat down in the chair they gave us some sunglasses and checked how many teeth we have and if we still have our little teeth. After around 2 or 3 minutes you were waiting for the other people in you small group of 4 to go back to class. Just before our group left the van they gave us a sheet to give to our parents. It was really good to be able to see the dentist at school for no cost.
