What we have been up to… 

We have been continuing our theme on all things Spring the past couple of week! Last week, we enjoyed the sunshine and spent lots of time outside. With Halloween around the corner, we have some Halloween-inspired activities lined up this week. We also got crafty making bug rings and pom-pom caterpillars. The school Disco on Thursday afternoon was a definite highlight of the week for many children. It was so fun to get to see the children dressed up in their funky disco outfits and hear all about the fun they had! We are so proud of how helpful the children are with the odd cleaning jobs we have to get done throughout the week. While we encourage children to clean up after themselves, there are times when the children go above and beyond with helping around the place. Oftentimes, there are multiple volunteers who actively ask for things they can help us educators with, or when they see us cleaning and come up to help us without prompting. It is so lovely to get to see this kindness and consideration extended to one another at TheirCare. What a lovely group of people we have here!

Communications:

• We are continuing to encourage social distancing and handwashing for the kids during service. We have some additional RAT tests for families who would like to take some.
• Parents and carers, please continue to sign your children in/out. There is sanitiser at the sign in desk for your convenience.
